INTERNATIONAL GENERAL KNOWLEDGE OLYMPIAD (IGKO)

International General Knowledge Olympiad (IGKO) encourages the students to build up their overall knowledge and focuses more on young learners. General knowledge covers a wide range of things and provides knowledge regarding the subject.

Benefits of IGKO Olympiad Exam

  1. Enhances general awareness.
  2. Learn about the current affairs in India and around the world.

IGKO has only one level for exam and conducted in the respective schools of the participants during school hours.

  1. There are 35 objective-type (Multiple Choice) questions for class 1 to class 4 and 50 objective-type (Multiple Choice) questions for class 5 to class 10 of 60 minutes duration.
  2. The question paper consists of four sections:
    • Section 1: General Awareness
    • Section 2: Current Affairs
    • Section 3: Life Skills
    • Section 4: Achievers Section
  3. SOF conducts exam on three dates and each school may select a date for conducting the ISO as per their convenience. Question paper is different for each date of exam. SOF does not permit the change of date for conducting the exam.
  4. English is the Medium of the test.
  5. Test paper are prepared based on CBSE, ICSE/ISC and State Board syllabus.

How to participate

Registration of Students

Student of class 1st to 10th can participate in the exam.

Any school can get themselves registered as a center for SOF IGKO Level 1 and there is no fee for the institution to become a registered examination centre.
