Leading academician & scientists of the country established the Indian Talent Olympiad in 2012. The objective is to identify and nurture student talent leading to improved academic performance. It helps to assess the knowledge, reasoning ability and level of understanding, of students from Class 1 to Class 10 across India. More than 31,573 schools registered for the Indian Talent Olympiad Examinations till now and millions of students appeared in the Olympiad exams across India.

Students selected for the 2nd Round and who wish to appear for the 2nd round can need to pay Rs. 100.
Mode Of Payment
The respective school has to send the consolidated amount collected from the students Rs.125 per student per subject to the Indian Talent Olympiad Account vide Demand Draft in favour of “INDIAN TALENT” payable at MUMBAI.

Schools can also register online & make payment online by visiting website: indiantalent.org/registration
OR
Schools can transfer the consolidated amount collected from the students using NEFT/RTGS/CASH DEPOSIT and update the transaction details in the Registration Form and send it along with the Student List to the office address.
Minimum 40 students per school should be enrolled for the application forms to be accepted. No limit for maximum students. Top three medals (Gold, Silver and Bronze medals) and awards class wise will be given only if the student count is more than or equal to 10 per class per subject. School or teachers should send the Student List class-wise along with School Registration form and DD.

Selection Criteria to qualify for 2nd Level Indian Talent Olympiad Exams: Students fulfilling either of the following 2 criteria will qualify for 2nd level INDIAN TALENT exams.
- Class-wise top 20% of students who appear for the 1st level exam. Due priority to marks scored in different sections will be considered.
- Class topper, where minimum 10 students from a class appear in the exam, & scores at least 50% marks. For section-wise registrations, Class toppers will be from each section where participation in each section exceeds 25 nos.
2nd level exam will be held for Science, Mathematics, English, and General Knowledge for students from class 1 to 10.
If two or more students score the same total marks, ranks will be awarded to students scoring higher marks in sections accorded higher priority, as under.

Criteria for ranking- If two or more students score the same number of marks, ranks will be determined on the following criteria:
- Marks scored in sections in the exam.
- Time Taken to complete the exam.
- If required, negative marking (0.25) will be there as a tie-breaker.
- For Tough Ties, ITO has included some questions internal marking ratio. In a very close call, the same ratio will be applicable in evaluation.
- At any point in time, ITO is not liable to provide anyone internal marking details/criteria. It is a confidential evaluation process.
- Only Ranks will be shown in the Results.
- If two or more students score the same marks under all the categories above, they will be awarded the same rank & the scholarship amount will be shared among students.
Important Terms Regarding National Ranks:
- National Rank 1 & National Rank 2 winners’ scholarship amounts are divided into certain years as per policy. The divided scholarship amount will be provided to the scholarship winner till the entire scholarship amount.
- The National Scholarship is targeted to provide Educational Benefits to extraordinary performing students. Due to this Indian Talent Management has set policies to split the National Rank Scholarships in certain years.

Annual Olympiad Exam
- Round 1: Exam is conducted in 2 slots for Round 1. Students can select the slot of their choice and once the slot is selected it cannot be changed.
- Round 2: Students qualified in Round 1 can appear for Round 2 (Final Round) which will be conducted only for Science, Maths, English, and General Knowledge.
Monthly Olympiad Exam
- Conducted online every month on specific date
- Conducted for Math, Science, English, GK, Essay and Drawing
- Duration is 25 minute
