SilverZone Benefits
- Silverzone gives National and International exposure to students.
- Enhances logical and reasoning capabilities
- Enhances the standard of literacy among school children
SilverZone : Mark Allocation
The SilverZone Olympiad follows a 100-mark examination pattern across all classes. However, the number of questions and marks allotted per question vary according to the student’s class and the Olympiad subject.
Class | No. of questions | Total marks | Duration |
Classes 1 – 2 | 25 | 100 | 40 minutes |
Classes 3 – 5 | 30 | 100 | 40 minutes |
Classes 6 – 8 | 35 | 100 | 40 minutes |
Classes 9 – 12 | 40 | 100 | 50 minutes |
Important Points
- The examination carries 100 marks irrespective of the class.
- Different sections have different marks per question, depending on the class and Olympiad.
- Every correct answer earns the marks assigned to that question.
- No marks are deducted for incorrect answers.
- A small weightage factor is added to correct answers to break ties while determining ranks.
SilverZone: Ranking and Results
The SilverZone Olympiad results are declared online on the official SilverZone Foundation website after the successful completion of the examination. Students can check their scores, international rank, zonal rank, state rank, and school/class rank by entering the required details on the results portal.
SilverZone Ranking System
SilverZone prepares rankings based on a student’s performance in the Olympiad examination. The following ranks are awarded:
- International Olympiad Rank: Assigned to students by comparing their performance with participants of the same class from India and other participating countries.
- Zonal Rank: Awarded based on a student’s performance within their designated geographical zone.
- State Rank: Determined by comparing students from the same state.
- School/Class Rank: Indicates a student’s position among participants of the same class in their school.
How Results Are Calculated
SilverZone uses a transparent evaluation process to determine the final score and rankings:
- Raw Score: Calculated by adding the marks obtained for all correct answers.
- Total Score: Derived by adding a small predefined question weightage to the raw score. This weightage helps resolve ties between students with identical raw scores.
- Ranking: Final rankings are prepared based on the total score after applying the tie-breaking weightage.
Performance Analysis Report
Every participant receives a detailed Performance Analysis Report, which includes:
- Marks obtained and rank at the School, State, Zonal, and International levels.
- Chapter-wise performance analysis.
- Percentile comparison with students at the zonal and international levels.
- Strengths and areas requiring improvement for future preparation.
Important Note
For Olympiads with multiple levels, the final international rankings and awards are determined according to the rules applicable to that Olympiad. Students are advised to check the official SilverZone notifications for subject-specific result announcements and award criteria.
