ABACUS OLYMPIAD (AO)

ITO AO (Abacus Olympiad) is an Abacus-based Olympiad conducted by the Indian Talent Olympiad (ITO). It is designed to develop students’ mental arithmetic, calculation speed, concentration, memory, accuracy, and logical reasoning skills through abacus-based calculations. ITO currently offers AO for students from Nursery to Class 10, with class/level-appropriate preparation material.

What is Indian Talent Olympiad AO?

Indian Talent Olympiad AO (Abacus Olympiad) is a mathematics-based Olympiad conducted by the Indian Talent Olympiad (ITO). ITO currently lists AO for Classes 1 to 10 in its 2026–27 annual Olympiad programme.

Who can participate in Indian Talent Olympiad AO?

For the annual AO examination, students from Classes 1 to 10 can participate. ITO states that students from these classes have no minimum academic eligibility requirement for participation.

ITO also provides Little Champ Abacus Olympiad for Nursery to Senior KG, separately from the regular Class 1–10 AO.
